Child Care Resource and Referral is a program designed to aid parents who are seeking child care. Assistance is given to locate appropriate quality child care to meet the requirements of parents and children. Training and technical assistance is provided to help those who are interested in starting their own child care facility or certified child care home. Employers who are concerned about retaining a trained work force have Child Care Resource and Referral as a resource to assist their employees in finding child care. Child Care Resource and Referral will also provide information and resources to employers who are interested in subsidizing child care costs for implementing their own quality child care facilities.
This agency is funded in part under a contract with the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Division of Child Care with funds allocated by the Child Care and Development Block Grant.
